The RMG Coordinator will support workforce planning and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization across various projects. This role is responsible for monitoring staffing needs, managing the bench pool, coordinating with project managers for resource requirements, and aligning resources as per client needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of workforce management in a service-driven environment.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Resource Allocation: Identify, allocate, and reallocate resources based on project demands and business priorities, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal idle time.
Staffing Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and team leads to understand staffing requirements and facilitate timely onboarding or reassignment of resources.
Bench Management: Track and manage employees on the bench, coordinate training or upskilling activities, and proactively identify placement opportunities.
Utilization Monitoring: Track resource utilization metrics, analyze trends, and report variances to the RMG Manager to improve workforce efficiency.
Forecasting and Planning: Assist in workforce planning and forecasting by analyzing upcoming project requirements and creating staffing plans.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resource allocation, availability, skill sets, and other relevant data. Generate regular reports for leadership on resource utilization, bench count, and other metrics.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact between RMG, project managers, HR, and recruitment teams to ensure alignment on staffing needs and resource availability.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, including resource allocation protocols, performance standards, and data privacy regulations.
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements in resource management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce bench time.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or a similar role, ideally within a BPO or IT service industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, workforce management tools, and experience with ERP or HR software (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft) is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
